Great item – kept my rucksack safe as hold baggage and makes a robust weatherproof cover too. Can use a tsa padlock to lock the zip tags together. Used as a rain cover in a thunderstorm at 2500m up in the Dolomites and there was no water penetration.

Like the other reviewer said this listing is for medium not large (which is was I wanted and my two separate orders both came as mediums). Somewhere on the listing or the email invoice you get, there is a product code which is for the medium.

Kept my gossamer gear mariposa 60ltr and a relatives osprey 65ltr women's rucksack safe for multiple flights and coach journeys (each bag had one of these air covers). It made of a really strong/thick ripstop so I had no worries about scraping it on sharp rocks when it was covering 16kg rucksacks.

worked well for keeping the rain off the rucksacks but water can pool at the bottom as there isn't a drain hole like some other rain covers have.

it's not shaped for my mariposa at all as that bags has an unconventional shape but it fit on there with a little struggle (it slides off the top letting some water in at the top but all raincovers doe that on that bag and isn't the osprey aircovers fault). thought this was worth noting if you dont have an osprey rucksack.

One way osprey could improve it is by putting attachment points for putting a shoulder strap on it for when it completely covering your rucksack.
Osprey make another simular item to this at a simular price which doesn't convert into a raincover and is just a bag for traveling, that has a shoulder strap so why can't this.

Definitely worth the money to protect your bag and you don't need to take a separate raincover for thru hikes.

Dual purpose amazingly tough worth the money

The cover is really good, rip stop material, doubles as a rain cover etc.
However this listing is a bit borked. It’s actually for the medium size – the page title says large but then confirmation emails said medium and a medium arrived (40-60L).
Thankfully it fits my kestrel 68L perfectly as the Kestrel is short and fat, otherwise would have been a return job!

This product is great, I’m docking a point because the listing is wrong on Amazon, it’s actually the medium (which I was looking for) but you can’t tell until you add it into your basket. I spent weeks thinking the medium was out of stock, and that osprey had 2 large listings. Nope one was the medium listing but with the wrong title. Please fix
